How Much does Coolsculpting Cost?

I am interested in Coolsculpting but how much does coolsculpting cost? The Coolsculpting Procedure Coolsculpting has become the gold standard for noninvasive fat reduction and body contouring.  Performed in-office with no anesthesia, a Coolsculpting treatment is done as fast as 35 minutes.  There is no downtime or long recovery.  Patients are back on their feet immediately and can resume normal activities.  Over the next 2-4 months, the fat in the area treated will begin to decrease.  Sounds great, right?  So how much does Coolsculpting cost? Coolsculpting Cost: How Much is Coolsculpting? The key part of the Coolsculpting procedure is the applicators.  Applicators are attached to different body areas to safely freeze the fat.  Coolsculpting applicators come in all sizes and shape designed for optimal treatment of different body areas.  There are small and large, curved and flat and even one designed especially for the chin.  The Coolsculpting cost is based on the size and number of applicators used.  One large applicator is needed to treat a lower abdomen while two small applicators may be needed to treat love handles.  Depending on the body type and amount of fat, the Coolsculpting technician will choose the right applicators to produce the best result. So your Coolsculpting cost is determined by the mix of applicators required to give you results.  Coolsculpting prices run anywhere from $800 to $1600 an applicator.  A free consultation is required to give you an individualized quote. How much does coolsculpting cost vs surgery? Since coolsculpting is performed in-office with no anesthesia, the costs are much lower.  Compared to surgery, you save anesthesia and facility fees.  This makes the cost of coolsculpting a fraction of that of plastic surgery. Coolsculpting Near Me Are you looking for Coolsculpting near me?  Beleza Medspa offers multiple locations with Coolsculpting available.  We were one of the first practices to offer Coolsculpting in Austin and have performed thousands of procedures.  We have many experienced Coolsculpting technicians to give you the best results. Coolsculpting vs Laser Lipo Coolsculpting can help almost any patient.  However, patients wanting even more advanced body sculpting are candidates for smartlipo laser lipo.   In the hands of an experienced surgeon, smartlipo can remove more fat than Coolsculpting and sculpt a curvy figure. Performed under local anesthesia while awake, smartlipo is safe and has minimal downtime. …

What is Laser Liposuction? Liposuction has been around a long time.  It basically involves the use of vacuum cannulas to suction fat from the body.  It has been refined over the years and now is mostly performed while awake using local anesthesia.   The size of the cannulas used has decreased and the emphasis has shifted to body sculpting and contouring.  Loose skin has always been an issue with liposuction.  Typically, you can see at least 50% skin retraction with aggressive liposuction.  But with areas with very loose skin, an excision of skin like a tummy tuck may be necessary.Lasers have been used on the outside of the skin for more than 20 years.  It is well known that when heat is introduced to the skin, it causes tightening and stimulates new collagen formation.  Around 8 years ago, Smartlipo (Smart Liposuction) was introduced to the market.  This was a laser specifically dedicated to laser liposuction.  The laser was used for 3 main effects:skin tightening fat melting cauterization of bleedingThe Smartlipo laser was found to be able to help provide better liposuction results.  Patients showed smoother results and tighter skin as well as less downtime and bruising.  Smartlipo didn’t replace liposuction, but made it better.  It is just another tool in the surgeon’s bag. Does Laser Lipo work? The short answer is yes!  Since the introduction of Smartlipo, many other lasers have been introduced.  The power and wavelengths of these lasers has also evolved.   Stronger power allows more energy to be introduced into the tissues in a shorter time.  The wavelength of light used is important due to what tissues they affect.  The original Smartlipo used 1064nm that mainly affected fat and blood vessels.  1064 is generally considered to be inefficient in melting fat and tightening skin.  Since then, Smartlipo now has the Smartlipo Triplex which adds 1320nm and 1440nm wavelengths.  1320nm is highly absorbed by the skin and connective tissue leading to skin tightening.  The 1440nm wavelength is highly absorbed by fat, making it ideal for melting fat.  So the Smartlipo Triplex combines the laser wavelengths to give the best fat melting, skin tightening and less downtime.Laser Lipo at Beleza Medspa We have performed over 1000 cases of laser liposuction.  We have gone from the original Smartlipo to the powerful Smartlipo Triplex.  We know the limitations of Smartlipo as well as its strengths.   We have found Smartlipo Laser Liposuction ideal for liposuction of the chin and neck.  This area is defined by a small amount of fat and usually some loose skin.  Laser lipo is the ideal tool to melt this fat while causing skin tightening.   We also routinely use the Smartlipo Laser to aid areas that need additional skin tightening.  Aggressive liposuction is always the first step in causing skin retraction.  The laser is then used at the end of the case to add heat to aid skin tightening. What is the Laser Lipo Cost? The good thing is that laser lipo shouldn’t cost you more than regular liposuction.  We include the cost of laser liposuction into all of our surgery quotes.  Our goal is to always provide you the best results with whatever tools we have to utilize. The term Smart Liposuction used to be just about the use of the laser.  We now consider Smart Liposuction to involve awake tumescent anesthesia (safer), use of microcannulas (finer) and the addition of laser lipo (better).  This is state of the art body sculpting and what you should demand from your surgeon.…

Tummy Tuck SurgeryTummy tucks are popular procedures for patients who recently lost weight or went through childbirth only to find a pack of excess skin in the tummy area. There are several treatments designed to produce skin tightening, but when there is a drastic need like in many tummy tuck patients, non-surgical treatments are not enough to resolve the issue. There are some serious downsides to the traditional tummy tuck. The procedure is designed to reduce excess fat and skin as well as tighten the underlying muscles in the area. It is a procedure that addresses several issues but in doing so, produces a significant scar that generally spans from hip to hip and many patients are not comfortable with the size of the scar.Mini Tummy TuckThe mini tummy tuck, offered at Beleza Medspa, is a good alternative for patients who are not candidates for a full tummy tuck but need the skin tightening that comes with it. Generally, mini tummy tuck candidates have less skin to remove and do not need the structural work that is done in conjunction with a full tummy tuck. The benefits of the mini tummy tuck include a smaller, less noticeable and often lower scar. Another benefit is that the procedure can be done without a general anesthetic using an injected numbing solution and a mild oral sedative. Because only the skin is affected and the muscle under is left alone, most mini tummy tuck patients do not report high levels of pain during recovery.Liposuction Tummy TuckMany SmartLipo patients are opting in to a mini tummy tuck to enhance the effects of the SmartLipo procedure. Because SmartLipo addresses some skin laxity but cannot improve the look of drastically saggy skin, the mini tummy tuck is added to fill that need.Laser Tummy TuckHowever, many patients can have their loose skin addressed alone with a Laser Tummy Tuck.  The heat produced form the Smartlipo Laser can lead to a great deal of skin tightening.  The procedure can be repeated for even greater results.  The tummy tuck scar can be avoided altogether. When added to a SmartLipo procedure, the mini tummy tuck does not drastically raise the price and is a great option for moms who want to improve the look of saggy skin left over from pregnancy or patients who lost weight and want to show it off. Some patients are not ideal candidates for the mini tummy tuck and would benefit from Smart Lipo or a full tummy tuck. The best way to determine if the mini tummy tuck is right for you is to come in for a free consultation so our staff can examine the area and make the best recommendation for your needs.Tummy Tuck Surgery CostLiposuction vs. Tummy Tuck…

Lipo Vaser vs Laser Lipo

What is the difference between Laser Lipo and Lipo Vaser? We have heard of all these new fat busting technologies.  What are they and do they work?  Lawrence Broder MD of Beleza Medspa Austin TX, demonstrates and discusses some of these technologies. Laser Lipo Laser Lipo or better known by its brand name, Smartlipo, involves the use of a laser during liposuction.  The laser provides a focused beam of a single wavelength of light.  The light is absorbed by the tissues like fat, blood and skin to generate heat.  It is the heat that is important for the effects of laser lipo.  The heat will cause fat to melt and allows more fat removal and smoothing of the fat layer.  The heat absorbed by blood is important as it helps to cauterize blood vessels and control bleeding.  Finally, the heat absorbed by the skin and connective tissue leads to skin tightening.  So the effects of laser lipo or smartlipo help to improve liposuction results and decrease downtime.Lipo VaserUnlike laser lipo, lipo vaser uses ultrasonic sound waves.  These sound waves causes microscopic bubbles to form that help to break apart and free fat cells from the surrounding tissues.  This is important in areas of very fibrous fat like the chest, back and previous liposuction areas.  So the lipo vaser allows more fat to be removed with less trauma to the surrounding tissues.  Some heat is generated during the use of vaser but it is not as focused as laser lipo.  As with laser lipo, lipo vaser provides better results with less downtime.Smartlipo and Vaser can be used together or alone during liposuction cases.  They can work together to provider smoother and better sculpted body areas with less trauma and downtime.  They are both tools that a well trained and experienced cosmetic surgeon will use as needed during surgery. …

Laser Lipo

What is Laser Lipo? Laser lipo is short for laser liposuction.   Liposuction as we all know is the cosmetic surgery procedure to remove fat from the body.  Common liposuction areas include the belly, love handles, muffin tops, thighs, arms and chin.   Popular for more than 30 years, liposuction is traditionally performed using blunt cannulas.  A cannula is nothing more than a hollow tube with small holes at the end.   The cannula is connected to suction and as it moves through the fat, it actually vacuums fat from the area.  The trick is to remove the right amount of fat to improve the body area while not showing any signs of the procedure. In recent years, laser assisted liposuction was introduced.  The concept of laser lipo was the heat generated from the light energy absorbed would improve liposuction results.   The laser was found to melt fat, cauterize blood vessels and tighten skin.   The laser gave the surgeon new capabilities beyond just fat removal.  It also offered decreased downtime and the ability to perform finer body sculpting. What is Smartlipo? Smartlipo (also known as Smart Lipo or Smart Liposuction) was the first laser lipo machine introduced by Cynosure in 2006.  It utilized a 1064 nm wavelength laser via a small flexible laser fiber.  The laser fiber was introduced into the fat layer during the liposuction procedure.  The laser energy was absorbed by the tissues and the heat generated caused its effects.  The heat would melt fat cells, cauterize small blood vessels and cause the surrounding connective tissue and skin to tighten.Smartlipo has evolved tremendously since it’s introduction.  Power has progressed from 12 watts to 64 watts and several new wavelengths of light have been added with Smartlipo MPX and Smartlipo Triplex.  Devices for laser liposuction now target various frequencies for either fat (approximately 915 nm, 1,210 nm and 1,720 nm) or water (1,064 nm and 1,320 nm and 1440 nm).   Other companies introduced competing lasers like SlimLipo, CoolLipo and Lipolite.   All of these lasers use different wavelengths and energy levels to achieve similar results. So why choose Laser Lipo? Laser liposuction gives your surgeon an extra instrument to give you better results.  The heat generated from the laser will melt fat.  In smaller areas like the chin, it can be used alone to liquify most of the fat.  In larger areas like the belly, the laser is used after removing most of the fat with liposuction cannulas.  This leaves a smaller fat layer that the laser can be used to smooth and finely sculpt. The heat delivered by the laser liposuction fiber has also been shown to cause skin retraction and tightening.  Heat has been proven repeatedly to be able to cause skin tightening throughout the body.  Laser lipo allows for the targeted introduction of heat in higher levels than possible from the surface.  This gives the surgeon the added ability to tighten loose skin without large incisions. The other advantage of laser liposuction is the possibility of reduced downtime.  The melted fat from the laser allows easier fat removal and less trauma.  The heat can also cauterizes small blood vessels which leads to less bleeding and bruising. Which Laser Lipo device do I choose? There are a dizzying array of laser lipo devices out there with the accompanying hype.  It is confusing for the surgeon as well as the patient!  Studies have shown that it is not the laser, wavelength or power that influences the final results.  These are just the bells and whistles.  It was the actual amount of energy that was delivered to the treatment area.  When the right amount of energy was introduced, the results were similar.   So the most important deciding factor should be the surgeon’s skill and experience with laser liposuction, not the type of laser. What is the Laser Lipo Cost? The great thing about laser liposuction cost is that it doesn’t add to the price.  The cost of the equipment and the use of the laser is already included in the liposuction cost.  So you get all added benefits of the laser without any extra cost. How do I find out more about Laser Liposuction? Dr Lawrence Broder MD  at Beleza Medspa Austin TX have been performing laser lipo for more than 8 years on more than 3000 patients.  He has tremendous experience with Smartlipo laser liposuction and can expertly sculpt your new body contours.  Make a free consultation to discuss your needs and how laser lipo can help you!  …

Austin Smart Lipo

Interested in Smart Liposuction? Liposuction has certainly come a long way.  It used to require being put under with general anesthesia.  The surgeons would use large cannulas to suction the fat.  The patients were left with painful recoveries and suspect results.  The advent of tumescent anesthesia in the 80’s allowed liposuction to be performed safely, in the office under local anesthesia.  The large cannulas were replaced with much smaller, microcannulas.  These allowed for finer body sculpting an contouring.  In 2006, Smart Lipo laser lipo was introduced.  This gave the surgeon the ability to use the laser to melt fat and more importantly, tighten the skin.  This is why it was called smart liposuction, because it provided an additional tool to improve liposuction results.Previous to smart lipo, the only way to tighten the skin was with a tummy tuck.  This involves a large excision of skin and results in long recovery and scarring.  Smart Lipo laser lipo allowed a way to avoid a tummy tuck in some patients.  Since 2006, the laser technology has evolved.  We now have more power as well as different laser wavelengths to choose from.  This has enhanced our ability to provide even better laser liposuction results. So how does laser lipo work? A small laser fiber is introduced into the fat layer usually after some of the fat has already been removed.  The light of the laser is absorbed by various tissues including the fat, blood vessels and connective tissues.  The heat introduced into the fat melts it and allows more for more fat removal and smoothing.  Blood vessels are cauterized by the heat and reduces bleeding and bruising.  Finally, the connective tissue heating causes skin retraction and tightening.  Overall, we are seeing better results with less complications. What does Smart Lipo cost? The great thing is that laser lipo does not add to the cost of liposuction.  It is just an additional step during the procedure.  You get the extra results without the extra cost!  You should be quoted an all-inclusive fee for your surgery with the anesthesia, laser and follow-up costs included. Where do I find Austin Smart Lipo? Cosmetic surgeon Dr Lawrence Broder MD  at Beleza Medspa, Austin TX, has performed more than 3000 individual laser lipo procedures.  He is an expert at laser body sculpting under tumescent anesthesia.  He is also tremendously experienced at vaser ultrasonic liposuction and fat transfer.  if you are looking for Austin Smart Lipo or SmartLipo in Texas,  the cosmetic surgeons at Beleza Medspa may be able to help you. …
