Laser Tattoo Removal

How does tattoo removal work?

Using the latest laser technology, we’ll apply short bursts of light to the top layers of your skin. These are absorbed by the colored ink under your skin, which causes the pigmentation to fade into tiny particles. The particles are then absorbed into your body’s immune system. The entire process is done without damaging the surrounding skin.

What should I expect during treatment?

During treatment, you’ll be given protective eyewear to help ensure your eyes aren’t damaged by the laser. The actual treatment process takes only a few moments.

Are these treatments safe?

These treatments have proven safe in many clinical studies and trials.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments necessary depends entirely on the size of the tattoo as well as the ink used for the tattoo. More than one treatment is required in most cases.  Ideal colors to be removed are black and blues.

Is tattoo removal painful?

The process can be a bit uncomfortable – imagine a rubber band being snapped against your skin. To make you comfortable, we can put a topical anesthetic on before the removal process.

Who is a good candidate for tattoo removal?

While anyone can have a tattoo removed, those with fair or light skin that have dark tattoos near the surface will likely see the fastest results.
