What is a Dermal Filler?

Fillers are natural substances injected into the deep layers of the skin. There are two basic types of fillers: hyaluronic acid gels and the stimulatory fillers. Restylane, Perlane, and Juvederm are hyaluronic acid gels. Radiesse is known as a stimulatory filler.
